About Our Kennel
West Highland Terriers and Scottish Terriers are very smart and loyal dogs. Our Scotty and Westy puppies have the qualities we like best in dogs. Personality plus stable temperaments, terrier harsh coat, and of course impressive appearance are just some of their wonderful charactersitcs. Our Westie and Scotty puppies receive abundant attention from whelping time until going to new homes.
We place Pet/Companion pups with A NON BREEDING CONTRACT , neuter/spay contract, up-to-date shots and worming, and a congenital defects guarantee. Buyers of Pet/Companion pups will sign a neuter/spay contract. This dog is not intended to be used for breeding purposes. We never placed our pups with just any family. We are only interested in finding serious owners who can provide excellent care and a good, loving home. We were always careful to ask all the right questions and we encourage you to do the same.
We have equipped our nursery, grooming area, and a fun play room with air conditioning and an Hrv. We keep the temperature @ 70 degrees for our dogs . They have fenced in outdoor play areas which allow plenty of fresh air exercise instead of always being cooped up in the house .We also have lots of toys for our puppies and have a daily walking schedule, which includes regular time spent on the treadmill. An excellent source of excersize on rainy days.
We follow a very selective breeding program, taking extra care to produce West Highland White Terrier and Scottish Terrier pups that are healthy and free from congenital health problems which exemplify the breed standard. We carefully screen for health problems prior to breeding.
Over all the years we have raised puppies we have raised them in our home with the family. They are lovingly handled from birth, producing dogs with exceptional temperments that are very devoted to their owners. Socialization is very important and it means a lot to a new family to get a pup that is very socially stable. We spend lots of time with our pups and we don’t want pups leaving our home until they are ready, no earlier than 8 weeks old.
